How can one embrace Ambiguity?

What is Ambiguity? I think it’s something unclear! That we don’t understand. That we find difficult to deal with. That we don’t know the consequences of. Ambiguity can be defined as the quality of being open to more than one interpretation or inexactness. Embracing Ambiguity can be defined as Being able to be comfortable with uncertainty and the unknown. I feel if a person or a group is left in an ambiguous situation, then that person will look at the situation with every single aspect and develop different ideas. This might be difficult but then that’s the challenge which ultimately leads to one of the best possible outcomes of the situation. I feel Ambiguity brings out the creativity in a person irrespective of it being good or bad. Ambiguity brings out the most creative side of a person and makes him/her receptive to new ideas, opinions, perspectives etc. Ambiguity perhaps forces one to explore new ideas and experience unplanned events. There may be a feeling of anxiety or excitement while one is in an ambiguous situation. Ambiguity leads us to new discoveries and helps in developing new thesis. Altogether ambiguity shows us a different perspective of life. Leonardo Da Vinci, for example, believed he was a perpetual student of life. His incredible capacity to embrace ambiguity, the unknown and paradoxes enabled him to invent and make new discoveries that were hundreds of years ahead of his time. Ambiguity also leads to brainstorming new ideas. Brainstorming in the latest trend by developing questions and then implementing and working through these developed questions. Ambiguity might seem annoying sometimes and one may ask questions to himself while providing answers. Ambiguous statement, right? I meant that in an ambiguous situation one questions himself and then replies to himself what the answer is for example:

Me: What do you think I should do?”

Me to Myself: “I don’t know, what do you think?”

Me: “How do you want the presentation formatted?”

Me to Myself: “Format it so that it clearly communicates your key points.”

Me: “How many pages should the report be?”

Me to Myself: “I don’t know. How many will it take to concisely and clearly communicate your key points?”

Me: What should we do?”

Me to Myself: I told you, I don’t know.

This is exactly when a person or me is in an ambiguous situation would do. I would assume and perform different outcomes to the situations which automatically brings out the best in me. At the end, I would want to conclude by saying that Ambiguity relates and brings out one’s uniqueness.
