Overall Reflection!
It’s been while since I have been taking the ESP 103 classes. To be honest, I was quite afraid in the beginning when this class was about to start. I thought it is going to be a very hard class. But, eventually I realized that if I enjoy this class and understand the concepts while discovering new things about myself, I am going to do well on it. I didn't know that even I can be creative on the things that interest me. This is my portfolio #1 and I never knew that I would create a website of my own that will specify contents and articles written by me. I also made an introductory presentation asking questions about myself by providing some hints. I feel this will get the attention of the audience and will interest them to taking the quiz and answer the questions while turning it into a fun activity. I think Brainstorming forced me to get ideas in how to make a portfolio and give it an attractive outlook. So, I realized that the things that we are learning in class are helping us in the real world whether it is ambiguity, brainstorming, creativity or collaboration.
I think all the skills which I am developing in the class will ultimately help me in the future. Also, I will apply these skills to my BQ challenge. Brainstorming will help me to generate more questions and develop new ideas for the given project. Currently the project seems ambiguous but probably this ambiguity will help us to do a deeper analysis in the Grocery industry. Creativity would help us to polish the ideas the we choose in our future course of action. It will also shape the uniqueness of our presentation. And finally, Collaboration will help us all as team members to contribute towards the team equally. It will create a sense of unity among all the team members. We all will put different ideas, perspectives and opinions to this project which hopefully will turn out to be the best in the rest.
Currently, I am having a great experience in my ESP 103 class. It has been a good and a warm journey so far. I look forward to having many more fun activities in the class and discovering new things about myself, develop new skills which will help me to look at any problem/opportunity with a different perspective and a different outlook.
